My love affair with Acupuncture and Herbal medicine started in my 30’s following major surgery. I was still under par when we moved to Hong Kong in 1984, but following six visits to a lady who practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I found I was completely back to my old self. It was at that point that I decided to study acupuncture in order to be able to treat other women, so I became an apprentice to an eminent Chinese doctor in Kowloon until our family moved to UK in 1985. |

| Pregnant women are treated gently and with great care by acupuncture because they have different enegetic needs to a women who isn't pregnant. Also acupuncture focuses on the individual symptoms a woman presents with, so one womans morning sickness is not the same as another - each person has her own individual prescription of acupuncture points. | |
